Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to QUEST – A Journal of the Social Sciences undergoes a structured and rigorous review process:

• Initial Screening:
  • The Editorial Team reviews submissions for general suitability, originality, and adherence to journal guidelines.
• Peer Review:
  • Manuscripts deemed suitable are forwarded to two independent reviewers following a double-blind peer review system — ensuring anonymity of both author and reviewer.
• Decision Making:
  • Based on reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Board may:
    • Accept the manuscript
    • Request revisions
    • Reject the manuscript
• Communication with Authors:
  • Correspondence, feedback, and proofs will be sent to the first author, unless specified otherwise.
  • Final acceptance is contingent upon satisfactory revision as per reviewer/editorial feedback.
• Confidentiality:
  • The identities of reviewers and referees will not be disclosed at any stage to authors or external parties.
