Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to QUEST – A Journal of the Social Sciences undergoes a structured and rigorous review process:
- Initial Screening:
- The Editorial Team reviews submissions for general suitability, originality, and adherence to journal guidelines.
- Peer Review:
- Manuscripts deemed suitable are forwarded to two independent reviewers following a double-blind peer review system — ensuring anonymity of both author and reviewer.
- Decision Making:
- Based on reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Board may:
- Accept the manuscript
- Request revisions
- Reject the manuscript
- Based on reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Board may:
- Communication with Authors:
- Correspondence, feedback, and proofs will be sent to the first author, unless specified otherwise.
- Final acceptance is contingent upon satisfactory revision as per reviewer/editorial feedback.
- Confidentiality:
- The identities of reviewers and referees will not be disclosed at any stage to authors or external parties.
